Change Is A Good Thing, Right?

I am a terrible blogger as is plainly evident.

However, starting today I will try to do better. We are out the door for the summer so maybe I will have something to blog about for the next few months.

First stop, Las Vegas, always fertile ground. Then on to Kansas City, prepare for pics of grandchildren. Finally, DC on June 1.

You will probably miss the good old days of no posts.

Eat Your Heart Out , Aby

When I got home from Cabo, this is what was waiting for me in the "garden." My garden consists of eight tomato plants along the side of the house.

Guess what we had for dinner that night!

Come Sail Away . . .

Yes, we've been in Cabo again this spring. Yes, it may be a little excessive but what can I say, I really don't feel guilty! We went this time with three other couples, the Johnsons from Washington, D.C., the Hildebrandts from SLC (previously DC) and the Ferrins from SLC. I can say as an absolute fact that a good time was had by all.

Highlights? The afternoon spent sailing and snorkeling. The great surprise is that while I did not snorkle, I actually swam in the ocean which all of the Callister children know is a first for me. Dennis, the captain, provided a good grilled chicken dinner which tasted all the better for being served on board while anchored off "Lovers' Beach" at sunset.

And no, none of us came home with swine flu although both of the Johnsons had to stay home for a week before they permitted to go back to the office. Yep, they were both placed in quarantine! What has happened to our somewhat sane country?
