When Dan's Away

Dan has been out of town for three weeks now and I am going a little stir crazy. This is confirmed by my participation in the La Quinta Ward talent show last night. I was asked by the powers that be (Becky Jones and Lori Jackman) to be the lounge singer act and I very foolishly agreed. Anyway, my accompanist Eddie, NimbleKnuckles, Costanza (aka Jordan Honeycut) and I performed Stardust on the Prairie. For you who are unfamiliar with the world of lounge singing that would be the music of Stardust and the words from Pioneer Children Sang As They Walked.

It is a good thing that I'm meeting Dan in DC on Monday night.

  1. I don't know what Jan is talking about. We never asked her to do this. She begged us to let her be on the show. I would like to confirm that she did a fabulous job and there was much laughter involved. I have a DVD to prove it for any of Jan Callisters fans.

  2. Oh.
    My.
    Gosh.

If I don't get to see this video I will surely die.

No joke, for a second I didn't even recognize you!

  3. I stand with Lori on this one. Jan did beg to be the lounge singer on our talent show. She nailed her performance and brought the house down so we'll cut her some slack. Her performance was first-rate, splendid, inspired, and brilliant.
